The implied usage of this item is relatively peculiar. Instead of actually supressing the urge to drink, it seemingly acts as an alternative source to provide the girl with an endless reserve of alcohol so that she consumes from the Wine Box instead of The Player's stockpile of Drinks and Cigs. In this sense, it does not actually stop her from drinking, but instead provides her with more alcohol than she could reasonably consume in a twenty-one day timespan.
